Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Thursday directed the state government to accept the recommendation of the high-level committee on reduction of tuition fees of private schools for different classes.
The court also said, if anyone has any grievance on the recommendation of the committee, he/she can file a fresh writ petition.
The state government had formed a high-level committee on the directive of the High Court to resolve the issue after it sought not to interfere in the administrative decisions of private schools by maintaining that they were beyond the purview of government control.
