New York: Priyanka Chopra is livid. The high-profile actress slammed a news outlet which referred to her as ‘wife of Nick Jonas’.
Priyanka took to Instagram to share screenshots of the text which read, “The wife of Nick Jonas shared…”
She expressed surprise that ‘this still happens to women’ and asked if she should add her IMDb link to her bio.
“Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDb link to my bio?” Priyanka wrote. She tagged husband Nick Jonas in her post.
“Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’,” she further wrote, referring to her upcoming film ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ with Hollywood superstar Keanu Reeves.
Apart from Priyanka and Keanu, The Matrix Resurrections also features Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada, Neil Patrick Harris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jonathan Groff. The big-budget movie is set to release on December 22.
Priyanka said earlier that her singer husband Nick is a fan of The Matrix franchise and had excitedly bragged to his fans that Priyanka was a part of the film.
