Priyanka Gandhi Joins Twitter, Here’s Who She Follows

New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, one of the key figures to watch out for in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls, has logged on to twitter. On Monday she unveiled her official Twitter handle, drawing thousands of followers within the first few minutes.

The launch of her social media presence came on the same day as her mega roadshow in Lucknow, marking her first visit to Uttar Pradesh after being given charge of the eastern half of the state for the upcoming national elections as the party’s general secretary.

Withing hours of logging in, she was followed by 54,900 followers.

Priyanka, along with brother Rahul, is expected to carry her first public rally for this election in a 12 kilometre long road show in UP. They will be joined by Jyotiraditya Scindia, the newly appointed UP West General Secretary and KK Venugopal.

Social media is beaming with politicians and recently on February 6, BSP leader Mayawati had on February 6 joined Twitter through her handle @SushriMayawati.
