Bhubaneswar: Eminent educationist and member of the SOA Board of Management, Prof. RK Chauhan took over as Vice-Chancellor of SOA Deemed to be University on Wednesday.
He is the former Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been the vice-chancellor of Guru Jambheswar University, Hisar, The Global Open University, Kohima and Lingaya’s University, Faridabad. He also served as Pro-Chancellor of Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth at Faridabad.
A management expert, Prof. Chauhan recently completed an Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR) sponsored research project on ‘Faculty Retention and Faculty Appraisal’.
