Phulbani: Pug marks of a leopard greeted residents of Simanbadi village near Daringbadi in Kandhamal district on Monday.
Locals also claimed to have seen a leopard roaming in the area early in the morning. The animal was reportedly spotted near Simanbadi Bazaar around 6 am and moving towards Surusahasahi.
Forest department officials have reached the village to verify the pug marks, reports said.
