Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the festive season, the Odisha government on Thursday issued guidelines for Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja and other such celebration during September, October and November.
The guidelines have been issued in consonance with the August 31 order of the Orissa High Court, the notification issued by the Office of Special Relief Commissioner said.
It states that not more than seven people will be allowed to congregate at the pandals at a given time and there will be no immersion procession and entertainment or musical programmes.
The permission of collectors and the municipal commissioners is mandatory for holding puja at pandals.

According to the COVID-19 management guideline, all places of worship will remain closed till September 30 and no social and religious congregation will be allowed during this period, it added.
