Bhubaneswar: A pilgrimage to Puri’s Jagannath Temple is part of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation’s (IRCTC) package during Kumbh Mela. Devotees can travel on the Kumbh special train to visit Puri and Gangasagar besides Varanasi and Allahabad. The IRCTC has come with a tour package to holy places of Uttar Pradesh especially Prayagraj, the heart of Kumbh Mela. This 5000-year-old tradition will witness a huge congregation for 48 days. Lakhs of devotees have converged in Allahabad for the mela.

IRCTC Regional Office, Bhopal is offering “Bharat Darshan”, covering important religious and leisure destinations. The train has second and 3AC class seats.
It’s boarding points are Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Bairagarh, Saugar, Damoh and Katni. The deboarding points are Sataana, Damoha, Itanai, Bairagarh, Sagar, Dewas, Ujjain and Indore. The special Kumbh Mela package involves nine nights and 10 days journey these holy places of Uttar Pradesh.
The standard package is Rs 9,450 per person or Rs 945 per day. There is also a comfort package for Rs 11,550.
