Puri’s Lord Jagannath Temple Reopens For Darshan After 9 Months
Puri: Puri’s Lord Jagannath Temple reopened after a recess of nine months on Wednesday. The kin of the sebayats (temple servitors) have been allowed to have darshan of the deities.
The devotees were allowed entry to the temple after proper checking of ID proof and hand sanitisation.
The families of the servitors will be given access to enter the temple for the next three days and Puri residents’ entry will be allowed for darshan from December 26.
Darshan in Srimandir will start from 7.30 am on December 26, where only the residents of Wards No 2/3/6/9/11/12/15 have been allowed.
