Hyderabad: A couple of days after being granted a conditional bail in the Sandhya theatre stampede case, the ‘Pushpa 2’ actor Allu Arjun reportedly received a fresh notice from Telangana police on Sunday morning.
The notice warns Allu Arjun against meeting SriTej, the minor who got critically injured in the stampede and is currently undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.
After getting regular bail by the Nampally court on Friday, the actor had apparently expressed his intention to meet SriTej.
Anticipating that Allu Arjun might visit the boy, which might further lead to untoward incidents, the Ramgopalpet Police warned the actor against visiting the hospital without prior permission from the court.
Police officers from the Ramgopalpet police station visited Allu Arjun’s Jubilee residence this morning to deliver the notice to the actor personally, Sakshi Post reported.
Allu Arjun was arrested by the Telangana Police on December 13 following an FIR in the Sandhya theatre stampede case. The actor was later released after the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail.
On January 3, he was granted conditional bail by the Nampally court.
On December 4, a stampede occurred as actor Allu Arjun attended the premiere of his movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Threatre in Hyderabad, leading to the death of a woman named Revathi and injuries to her child.
