New Delhi: Shuttler P V Sindhu will be leading Indian contingent at the Commonwealth Games as the flag-bearer in the opening ceremony on April 4.
In the last three edition of the Commonwealth Games, the flag-bearer position had always gone to a male member of the shooting squad.
Sindhu, who won silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, is one among the title favourites in the women’s singles category.
She had bagged a bronze in the last edition of the Commonwealth Games, held in Glasgow in 2014.
