New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday announced cash rewards for providing information on Deep Sidhu and others suspected to be involved in the January 26 violence case.
Punjabi actor-cum-activist Sidhu has been accused of leading a group of protesting farmers to the Red Fort during the tractor rally, where they unfurled a religious flag on Republic Day.
Information on Sidhu, who has been missing since January 26, leading to his arrest will fetch Rs 1 lakh, reported Times Now. There will be cash reward of similar amount for information on Jugraj Singh, who had put up the flag at Red Fort, Gurjot Singh and Gurjant Singh.
Delhi Police also declared cash reward of Rs 50,000 each for information leading to arrest of Jajbir Singh, Buta Singh, Sukhdev Singh and Iqbal Singh.
All these eight persons allegedly played a role in instigating the January 26 violence in the national capital.
