Bengaluru: Taking election campaign to a new height, Rahul Gandhi, on Thursday, turned a ‘teacher’ and gave a report card to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Congress President gave Prime Minister Modi ‘F’ grade in the subject of agriculture’ for Karnataka state.

Elaborating on the results, Rahul said that the Centre has not contributed anything to Congress-led state governments decision of Rs 8,500 as farm loan waiver. Further he added, that the Prime Minister’s crop insurance scheme has led to farmers suffering as private companies are making huge profits. The Congress president also said that there has been no MSP plus 50 per cent for Karnataka farmers.
Prime Minister Modi, on the other hand, lashed out on Congress at an election rally in Kalabugaru district, for making false promises.
“During last elections, Congress promised they will make Mallikarjun Kharge Ji the Chief Minister. They misled the Dalit community. This is typically how Congress plays politics,” the Prime Minister said.
“We have seen the state being ruined for five years and we will no longer allow the state to be ruined further. People are seeing that in all corners of India the Congress is being rejected,” Modi added.
