Rahul Gandhi Launches Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Says Manipur Example Of BJP’s ‘Politics Of Hatred’
Imphal: Rahul Gandhi slammed the BJP over the ethnic clashes that have rocked Manipur since May as he launched the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from the troubled north-eastern state on Sunday.
The Congress MP said Manipur is an example of BJP’s ‘politics of hatred’, adding that for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP and RSS, ‘Manipur is not part of India’.
“After 29th June, Manipur wasn’t Manipur anymore, it got divided and hatred was spread everywhere, lakhs of people suffered loss. People lost their loved ones in front of their eyes. And till now, the Indian PM has not come here to wipe your tears and hold your hand. It is a shameful thing. Maybe for PM Modi, BJP and RSS, Manipur is not a part of India,” said the MP from Kerala’s Wayanad.

“I’m in politics since 2004 and for the first time I visited a place in India where the entire infrastructure of governance has collapsed,” said Rahul, who will cover more than 6,700 km across 15 states in over two months ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
“Manipur is a symbol of BJP’s politics, Manipur is a symbol of BJP and RSS’ hatred. Manipur is a symbol of BJP’s viewpoint and ideology,” he added, promising to bring back “harmony and peace for which Manipur was known.”
न्याय की हुंकार के रूप में, देश भर में हो रहे भयंकर अन्याय के विरुद्ध, आज से भारत जोड़ो न्याय यात्रा की शुरुआत हो चुकी है।
