Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Saturday informed the media about a minor change in the tour schedule of party president Rahul Gandhi, who will be on a day visit to the state on January 25.
Briefing mediapersons here, OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik said Rahul was earlier scheduled to address a public meeting at Bali Jatra ground near Gadagadia Ghat in Cuttack. However, as per the revised schedule, the party supremo will address a public meeting either at a stadium at Tamando or at the ground near Baramunda here.
“Apart from addressing the public meeting, he will also interact with eminent persons and the members of the civil societies. The duration of the programme in the city will be from 10 am to 5 pm,” he added.
Rahul will arrive in the Odisha capital at 10 am on January 25.
The OPCC president also said that he will visit the state again in February and tour some districts in south and western Odisha and address public meetings.
