Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to witness light to moderate rain till February 8.
According to the mid-day bulletin of Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, one or two places in Gajapati, Ganjam and Rayagada in South Odisha received thundershower on Monday (February 3). Ganjam, Rayagada, Koraput, Bolangir, Nuapada and Kandhamal are likely to experience rain till Tuesday morning.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at a few places in Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Angul, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Boudh, Sambalpur districts and at one or two places in the rest districts.
February 5-6
Similar weather conditions will prevail at a few places in Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Boudh and Koraput districts.
February 6-7
Several places in Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar districts and a few places in Boudh, Baragarh, Khordha, Cuttack, Puri and one or two places in the rest of Odisha will experience thundershower
The MeT has also issued yellow warning (thunderstorm with lightning) for one or two places in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Balasore and Kandhamal during this period.

Light to moderate rain is likely at several places in Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur and a few places in the districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Puri, Kandhamal and one or two places in the remaining parts of Odisha.
Similarly, yellow warning (thunderstorm with lightning) has been issued for one or two places in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara.
The weatherman has also forecast dense fog at one or two places in Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri and Koraput for February 3-4.
In Bhubaneswar and its neighbourhood, the weather is likely to remain partly cloudy with maximum and minimum temperature at around 27 degree C and 18 degree C in next 24 hours, it added.
