Rain Forecast In These Odisha Dists on Jan 21 to 24, Yellow Warning For 6 Dists; Check Details

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over several parts of Odisha from January 21 to 24, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and the regional meteorological centre here forecast on Thursday.

It also issued ‘yellow’ warning for thunderstorm and lightning in six districts.

Jan 21 (8.30 am) to Jan 22 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Sonepur and Bolangir.

Jan 22 (8.30 am) to Jan 23 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers likely to occur at one or two places over Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Deogarh.

Jan 23 (8.30 am) to Jan 24 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at a few places over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Kendrapara.

Jan 24 (8.30 am) to Jan 25 (8.30 am)

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at one or two places over Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
