Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre here has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at one or two places in Koraput, Malkangiri and Rayagada districts from 1.30 pm on Friday till 8.30 am on Saturday.
South interior districts of Rayagada, Koraput and Kandhamal received rain in the last 24 hours, the Met office said.
“Dense fog has occurred at one place in Kandhamal and shallow to moderate fog at one or two places in Kandhamal and Kalahandi. There was an appreciable fall in the minimum temperature at one or two places in South interior Odisha,” the mid-day bulletin said.
The highest maximum temperature of 36 degree Celsius was recorded at Parlakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 14.2 degree Celsius at Jharsuguda.
The weatherman has predicted a likely fall in the night temperature by 2-3 degrees in North Odisha and by 3-4 degrees in South Odisha during the next 2-3 days.
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to occur at one or two places in South interior Odisha, it added.
