Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunder and lightning is likely to lash at least nine districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Kataka cities, on Wednesday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 3.40 pm, the IMD sounded a yellow warning for Kataka (including Kataka city), Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Baleshwar, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagada, Kandhamala and Rayagada districts during next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and plan accordingly for their safety.
