Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for six districts of Odisha till 6.35 pm on Friday.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning may affect some parts of Keonjhar, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Khurda and Jajpur districts.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lighting strikes.
