Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for eight districts of Odisha till 5.15 pm on Wednesday.
Light rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning may affect some parts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Rayagada districts in next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike.
