Bhubaneswar: There will be light to moderate rain or thundershower in 15 districts of Odisha on Tuesday, the IMD said.
According to the weather bulletin, the 15 districts are Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Puri, Nuapada, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.
Besides, the IMD has predicted rainfall at several places in the northern interior and coastal districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir and Kandhamal and at one or two places over the other districts of Odisha on Wednesday.
On Thursday, there will be rainfall in Sonepur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Khurda districts and at one or two places in the remaining districts.
Similarly on Friday, there will be rain at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Sambalpur, Deogarh and at one or two places over remaining districts of north Odisha, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri and Ganjam.
The IMD has also issued a four-day yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph over the following districts.
