Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a nowcast warning for nine districts of Odisha till 4.30 pm.
Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely in some parts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda(including Bhubaneswar city), Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Keonjhargarh, Dhenkanal, Ganjam during the next three hours.

People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
