Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning in some parts of 16 districts of Odisha till 4.30 pm on Monday
The weather condition will prevail in Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh, Angul, Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Rayagada for the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
