Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a nowcast warning for 19 districts of Odisha till 3 pm on Thursday.
Light to moderate rain is likely at some places in Khurda, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Puri, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Sonepur, Boudh and Sambalpur during the next 3 hours.

People have been advised to keep a close watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
