Mumbai: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav and ‘Bigg Boss 19’ contestant Tanya Mittal have teamed up for a lively digital campaign for the beauty services platform Yes Madam, which brings back Yadav’s popular ‘Chota Don’ character from the film ‘Partner’.
The campaign taps into nostalgia marketing, a strategy often used by startups to capture attention in the crowded digital space.
It also marks Yadav’s first brand collaboration following recent discussions in the industry about the limited opportunities available to supporting actors.
Produced in collaboration with Footloose Films, the two-minute advertisement plays out like a mini-film.
The story opens with Tanya Mittal surrounded by goons, only to be dramatically rescued by Yadav’s Chota Don, who arrives with his signature comic style.
In the video, Mittal is seen wearing a red bodycon dress, while a group of men are shown carrying a body towards a crematorium.
Yadav’s character suddenly wakes up after hearing Tanya call for help and steps in to fight the goons before rescuing her.
The narrative then shifts to a domestic setting, where Mittal is seen relaxing while receiving an at-home service from Yes Madam, suggesting that the dramatic rescue was part of the experience.
Through this playful twist, the brand highlights its message of convenience and reliability, while also giving fans a nostalgic nod to Yadav’s memorable character from Partner.
