Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attended the ground-breaking ceremony in Ayodhya. Huge CCTV screens were put across the city where the puja was live-streamed.
Around 150 Hindu temples in the UK also observed the ceremony with prayers and kirtans, and arranged digital media streaming and displays to keep social gathering at bay.
