Mumbai: Lovebirds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are officially engaged now.
After reports of the rumoured lovebirds getting engaged started doing the rounds on social media on Friday, Vijay’s team confirmed the good news on Saturday.
Rashmika and Vijay, who have been apparently dating each other since 2018, got engaged in a private ceremony at their residence in the presence of their near and dear ones.
Vijay’s team also revealed that the couple will be walking down the aisle in 2026, as per a report in Hindustan Times.
However, neither Rashmika nor Vijay has shared any post about their engagement.
Rashmika and Vijay have worked together in films including ‘Geetha Govindam’ in 2018 and ‘Dear Comrade’ in 2019.
The couple was recently spotted together the 43rd India Day Parade in New York in August.
Last year, the duo had confirmed that they are not single, but avoided disclosing their partner’s name.
On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in ‘Kuberaa’, along with Dhanush and Nagarjuna in lead roles.
She will next be seen in Maddock’s horror-comedy titled ‘Thamma’ along with Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on Diwali 2025.
Vijay, on the other hand, was most recently seen in ‘Kingdom’ which also starred Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse.
