Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw record 123 patients recovering from COVID-19 on Friday, taking the cured tally to 1604.
According to Health and Family Welfare Department, 35 patients have been cured in Ganjam, 22 in Cuttack, 14 each in Nuapada and Balangir, 10 in Khurda, 7 in Kandhamal, 5 in Koraput, 4 in Kendrapada, 3 each in Balasore, Dhenkanal and Nayagarh, and 1 each in Angul, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh.
They are being discharged, the tweet further said while saluting the Corona Warriors for their untiring efforts.
The day also saw one more COVID-19 death, taking the toll to eight, and 130 new cases.
