Bhubaneswar: A record 1409 patients recovered from COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours. This is for the second consecutive day that the recovery cases have crossed 1,000.
According to a Health and Family Welfare department release, six districts registered more than 100 recovered cases with highest 258 from Ganjam, followed by 218 from Khurda, 128 from Rayagada, 122 from Sundargarh, 121 from Puri and 120 from Gajapati.
Similarly, 84 patients recuperated from the disease in Koraput, 68 in Cuttack, 58 in Balasore, 34 in Nabarangpur, 30 in Kandhamal, 25 in Jajpur, 24 in Malkangiri, 19 in Keonjhar, 16 in Balangir, 12 each in Baragarh and Kendrapada, 11 in Jharsuguda, 10 in Nayagarh, 9 in Boudh and 8 in Nuapada.
On Monday, 1,119 patients had recovered from COVID-19. With today’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state went up to 24,482.
