Bhubaneswar: A record number of 808 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were being discharged in different parts of the state on Friday.
Ganjam reported the highest number of 530 recovered patients, followed by 61 cases from Rayagada, 35 from Cuttack, 30 from Malkangiri, 22 from Gajapati, 19 each from Balasore and Khurda and 18 each from Baragarh and Bhadrak.
The number of recovered cases from other districts on the day is as follows:
8 from Boudh
7 each from Jharsuguda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara and Keonjhar
5 from Sambalpur
4 from Nabarangpur
3 from Sundargarh
2 each from Angul, Jajpur and Puri
1 each from Koraput and Nayagarh.
With today’s figure, the total recovered cases in the state have gone up to 15200. The COVID-19 tally went up to 22,693 on Friday with the highest single-day spike of 1594 positive cases.
