Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday reported the highest single-day recoveries of 2,519 COVID-19 patients, taking the cured tally to 56,924.
The highest recoveries of 428 were reported from Khurda while 276 from Balasore, 237 from Ganjam, 152 from Cuttack, 144 from Rayagada, 140 from Bhadrak and 138 from Sundargarh were also cured of the infection during the day.
Koraput saw 98 more patients recovering from the disease, followed by Puri (97), Nayagarh (96), Balangir (85), Dhenkanal (61), Kandhamal (60), Sambalpur (59), Jajpur (58), Mayurbhanj (54), 53 each from Bargarh and Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri (52), Gajapati (42), Nabarangpur (31), Kalahandi (23), Kendrapada (22), 19 each from Deogarh and Keonjhar, Jharsuguda (18), three from Angul and one from Boudh.
