Bhubaneswar: With the state witnessing spike in COVID-19 positive cases for two consecutive days, the number of recovered patients also jumped to 403 on Saturday from 310 on Friday.
According to Health and Family Welfare department, recoveries were reported from 24 districts of the state.
Of the recovered patients, maximum 73 were from Khurda district, followed by 57 from Kalahandi, 34 from Bargarh, 32 from Nuapada, 31 from Sundargarh, 27 from Angul, 26 from Cuttack, 17 from Jharsuguda, 14 from Sambalpur and 12 from Keonjhar .
The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
9 from Puri
8 from Jajpur
7 from Ganjam
6 from Nabarangpur
5 each from Balasore, Dhenkanal and Koraput
4 each from Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Rayagada
3 from Sonepur
2 each from Balangir and Kendrapada
1 from Nayagarh
15 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,39,603 while the active cases have gone up to 7003 with 1,374 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
