Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millenium City touched 5569 with 237 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 54 are institutional quarantine, 81 home quarantine and 102 are local contact cases.
While 11 cases have been reported from Sector -7, CDA, another nine are from Kila Fort.
The local contact cases include eight from Jagatpur and seven each from Tulasipur and Police Lane, Buxi Bazaar.
The CMC also informed about 427 more patients getting cured of the infection.
With 29 deaths and 3710 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1830 active cases.
