Regional ITI Fest-2022 Takes Off In Berhampur

Berhampur: The Regional ITI Fest-2022, ‘Berhampur Sports and Cultural Meet’, took off at Government ITI campus in Odisha’s Berhampur city on Thursday.

Berhampur SP Dr Saravana Vivek M inaugurated the 3-day festival. More than 600 students of 8 government run ITIs and some private ITIs of Ganjam and Gajapati districts are participating in different events of athletics and cultural competitions.

The students, who would secure first position in these events, would participate in the state-level ITI Fest to be held at Bhubaneswar in January next year, said Dr Rajat Kumar Panigrahi, Principal, ITI Berhampur.

The SP, who also visited the ITI campus, hailed the innovative skills of the students in preparing the artefacts from scrap materials. The ITI has proved itself as one of the leading institutes in the country due to the efforts of itys students and faculty, he said.
