Mumbai: The teaser release of Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ has been postponed following former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s demise on December 26.
The teaser of the much-awaited movie was scheduled to be released on Friday, which happened to be Salman’s 59th birthday.
Just a couple of hours before the scheduled teaser launch at 11.07 am on Friday, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house, wrote on X, “In light of the passing of our esteemed former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji, we regret to announce that the release of the Sikandar teaser has been postponed to 28th December 11:07 AM. Our thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning. Thank you for understanding. – #TeamSikandar.”

On December 26, a day ahead of Salman’s birthday, the makers of ‘Sikandar’ unveiled the first look poster from the film.
Sharing the poster on his Instagram and X handles, the actor announced that the film’s teaser would be released on his birthday at 11.07 am.
‘Sikandar’ stars Rashmika Mandanna as Salman’s leading lady and is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
India’s two-term (2004-2014) Prime Minister Dr Singh passed away on Thursday night at the age of 92 due to age-related medical conditions.
