Kolkata: Renowned sports journalist and commentator Kishore Bhimani passed away due to coronavirus infection on Thursday morning.
It is learnt that Bhimani was admitted to Woodlands Hospital here after he had tested positive for COVID-19 a month earlier. He was in hospital for a month.

The renowned journalists received a lifetime achievement award in 2013 for his contributions to the field of media and commentary. He is survived by wife Rita Bhimani and son Gautam.
