Bhubaneswar: The results of all examinations conducted in government-run colleges and varsities of Odisha will now have to be published within 45 days of the students answering the papers.
The Higher Education Department has given special emphasis on Plus-III results.
Higher Education Minister Arun Sahoo on Wednesday discussed about timely announcement of results, completion of the syllabus ahead of time and timely conduct of the examinations in a meeting with the vice-chancellors (VC) of the all state universities and controllers of examinations.
The remunerations of faculty members involved in question paper preparation and answer sheet evaluation will also be increased, informed Sahoo.
The Minister also asked the VCs to submit a report on status of universities funds within 15 days. The registrars have been asked to take measures to get accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Sahoo also directed the universities and colleges to resolve land-related issues and establish multi-storey buildings.
