Close on the heels of UAE, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday suspended travel to and from India, Brazil and Argentina due to the increasing coronavirus cases, reported India Today.
It has also barred people who have travelled to any of these countries 14 days prior to their arrival to the Kingdom, the report added.
“Suspending travel to and from the following countries (India, Brazil, and Argentina) including any person who has been in any of the mentioned countries in the last 14 days prior to their arrival to the Kingdom,” the country’s Civil Aviation Authority was quoted as saying by India Today.
Those who have official government invitations are excluded.
India and Saudi Arabia do not have bilateral travel under an air bubble arrangement or temporary travel corridors with an aim to carry out commercial passenger services at a time when regular international flight services are suspended.
