New Delhi: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor was cremated at the Chandanwadi Crematorium in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.
Sadly, the actor’s only daughter Riddhima Kapoor, who lives in New Delhi couldn’t attend her father’s funeral because of the lockdown.
As per reports, Riddhima has been given permission to drive to Mumbai which is 1,400 km away from Delhi. It will take her around 18 hours to reach Mumbai.
In view of the nationwide lockdown, the actor’s funeral service was attended only by few family members, close relatives and friends.
Rishi’s wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor, brother Randhir Kapoor, niece Kareena Kapoor and her husband Saif Ali Khan, nephews Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain, actress Alia Bhatt, actor Abhishek Bachchan, industrialist Anil Ambani and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji were present at the crematorium to bid adieu to the actor.
