Rituals Of Jagannath Temple In Puri Finalised For Kartik Month; Details Here

Puri: The rituals of the deities in Jagannath Temple to be performed in the holy month of Kartik of Odia calendar have been finalised.

Following is the schedule of the rituals as decided by the Niti Committee for the month:

• The main doors of the temple will open at 4 am everyday. It will be followed by Mangala Arati, Mailam, Tadapalagi, Bhoga Mandap, Madhyahnna Dhupa, Dwitiya Bhoga, and Sandhya Arati.
• The rituals of Bada Singhar Besha will also be performed.
• Laxminarayan Besha on November 25
• Bankachuda Besha on November 26
• Nagarjuna Besha on November 27
• Tribikram Besha on November 28
• Laxminrusingha Besha on November 29
• Rajadhiraj Besha on November 30
