Berhampur/Balasore/Bhubaneswar: Three people have died in two separate road accidents in Ganjam and Balasore districts since Thursday night.
Two persons, riding a motorcycle, died when the vehicle collided head-on with a speeding college bus near Sitapalli village under Chamakhandi police limits in Ganjam district on Friday morning. The bus driver fled the spot immediately after the accident.
On Thursday night, one person died and five were injured when a bus hit a truck near Nayak Bandha Square at Soro in Balasore district. The injured were admitted to a local hospital.
The bus was heading towards West Bengal from Paradip when the accident took place, police sources said.
