Keonjhar: Panic prevailed at Gopala Sahi in Suakathi area of Keonjhar district after a rocket bomb was recovered from Gandhamardhana forest under Sadar police limits here on Saturday.
According to available information, some people spotted the bomb while they had gone to graze cattle in the forest area. They noticed a box-like thing lying in the forest and alerted the police regarding the same.

Police along with bomb disposal squad reached the spot and seized the bomb.
The cops and locals suspect that the bomb might have fallen while being transported by Maoists.
Security has been intensified in the area and investigation into the matter is underway.
