Rourkela: The senior officers of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) bagged several awards at the 15th Global Communication Conclave held at at Goa recently.
The steel plant bagged Gold Award in ‘Public Service film’, Silver Award in ‘Best use of Social Media’, Bronze Award in ‘Internal Communication Campaign’ and Consolation award in ‘COVID Management in Public Sector’ in the Global Conc.
The conclave was held under the auspices of Public Relations Council of India, a pan-India Communication Exchange forum and Young Communicators Club. It was inaugurated by Governor of Goa PS Sreedharan Pillai on September 17.
The theme of the conclave was ‘Communication in the new decade – Mapping the Mega Trends’.
The RSP team of Dhirendra Mishra, GM In-charge (Personnel-Works), Archana Satpathy, DGM(PR) CoC and Sasanka S Pattanaik, Assistant Manager (PR) received the awards from Govind Gaude, Art & Culture Minister.
‘Chanakya Award’ as ‘Communicator of the Year’ was presented to Dhirendra Mishra by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The prestigious ‘Ameya Award’ and ‘Best Motivator Award’ went to Archana Satpathy.
‘Ameya Award’ is presented to women achievers for excellence in their respective fields.
Bollywood singer Hema Sardesai, Chairman Emeritus & Chief Mentor, PRCI MB Jayaram were present on the occasion along with and other dignitaries.
The awards were presented in recognition of RSP’s effective, visible and impacting practices in different initiatives which have helped the company in excelling in its plethora of endeavours.
