Hyderabad: A month after a woman died during premiere of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ in Hyderabad, another incident of fan death has been reported in Rajamahendravaram.

According to reports, two fans of Ram Charan – Arava Manikanta and Thokada Charan – were hit by a van while they were returning home on a bike after attending the pre-release event of the actor’s upcoming film ‘Game Changer’ at Rajahmundry. The duo, who hailed from Gaigolupadu in Kakinda, were rushed to the nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries on Saturday night.

Producer of ‘Game Changer,’ Dil Raju, while speaking to press on Monday, announced a financial aid of Rs 10 lakh to the bereaved families. “It’s unfortunate when such incidents happen during such happy moments; it’s painful. I will support the families in any which way I can, and I want to start by offering them Rs 5 lakh each. My condolences to the families,” Raju told reporters.

Production house Sri Venkateswara Creations posted on X, “Producer #DilRaju garu announced Rs 10 lakhs and assured support to the families of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in the accident following the #GameChanger event. Our deepest condolences to their loved ones in this difficult time.”

Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan was also present at the event and had apparently expressed his concern about the safety of fans at such a large event.

The pre-release event of ‘Game Changer,’ which will be hitting theatres on January 10, was attended by fans of both Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan.

Last year on December 4, Allu Arjun’s fans went berserk at the Sandhya Theatres to catch a glimpse of the actor, leading to a stampede, which left a woman dead and her minor son critically injured.
