Rs 480 Crore Sanctioned For Development Works In Nuapada, Says Pandian
Nuapada: Odisha government has sanctioned more than Rs 480 crore for various development works in Nuapada district, said 5T and Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha chairman VK Pandian on Friday.
Speaking at a public meeting in Binpur under Boden block during a visit to the district, Pandian said he had received 840 applications from the people to the chief minister regarding various issues during his visit to the district in May last year. Of those, the problems of 780 people have been resolved, he added.
He further said the government has sanctioned the fund for development works in Komna, Boden, Sinapalli and Khariar. It will be used in various projects including development of temples, mosques and churches.
Seeking people’s support for BJD in coming elections, he said if it is elected to power again, the rest issues would be addressed within 15 days. “The chief minister has been giving special attention to Nuapada for the last years. With your support, the development works will continue in coming years,” he said.
Pandian also interacted with the students at a Nua-O programme in National College at Nuapada.
