Cuttack: An election flying squad seized Rs 7.41 lakh in unaccounted cash from a petrol pump in Kahirapola area of Jagatpur in Cuttack district on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, the squad raided the petrol pump office, reportedly owned by a family member of the BJP’s Salipur MLA candidate Prakash Behera.
The petrol pump employees said the cash was earned by selling fuel but the police have begun a probe into the matter.
