Bhubaneswar: The members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh were called upon to carry out their services with greater responsibility considering the changed situation due to COVID-19.
During the two-day annual meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) of RSS held here on November 25 and 26, the Swayamsevaks were told to focus on environmental preservation, water conservation and social equality while working on the basis of self-reliance and self-dependence. They were also advised to follow the COVID-19 guidelines like wearing masks and maintaining social distancing while holding the ‘sakhas’ (daily meeting).
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat reviewed the welfare activities undertaken by the Swayamsevaks and livelihood, education and health care of people during the pandemic.
Around 35 top functionaries of RSS from Odisha, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar participated in the meeting.
