Berhampur: With one more person succumbing to COVID-19, Ganjam district administration on Saturday appealed to the people of rural areas not to visit the urban places for next 15 days unless there is an emergency.
“We have to avoid crowd, use mask and constantly maintain social distancing to control Corona virus,” said Ganjam collector Vijay Amrit Kulange.
He called for following the simple rule of SMS (S for social distancing, M for mask and S for sanitisation) as the only mantra to counter Coronavirus.
Ganjam has recorded 58 corona positive cases during last 24 hours topping the list in Odisha.
Meanwhile, the Health & Family Welfare department said one person has died of COVID-19 in Ganjam district.
