Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has directed the Fire Services department to review all COVID Hospitals and deploy fire personnel. The decision comes at a time when fire incidents in COVID dedicated hospitals are being reported from all over the country,
As per the decision, dedicated fire personnel with firefighting equipment are being sent to different COVID hospitals.
Six personnel each have been engaged 48 COVID hospitals, this includes 4 hospitals in Cuttack.
A private hospital at Jagatpur in Cuttack had witnessed fire but there was not casualty.
