SAI International Student In NaPSAT That Bags 3rd Position In NASA Rover Challenge
Bhubaneswar: The Navonmesh Prasar Student Astronomy Team (NaPSAT), which secured third position in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge-2021 in the high school division, includes Shreyansh Vikash Mishra of SAI International School, here.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded the team on winning laurels for Odisha by getting the third position in NASA Rover Challenge.
Thanking the NaPSAT India, Shreyansh, a student of Class X, said he was grateful to NaPSAT India to have given such a platform where they could showcase their talent. He also thanked his school, teachers and the Atal Innovation Lab of his school which constantly guided and motivated him to participate in this competition.
“My school has always been beside me as a strong pillar of support. I am extremely happy and honored to have been able to make a mark in this innovative journey”, said Shreyansh.
Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, founder of SAI International Education Group congratulated the talented boy and wished him luck for his future aspirations. “It is our deepest endeavours to create critical thinkers and nurture the innate talent in the students to build a better India,” he said.
The 10-member team was created to design a rover that can move on the surface of Mars for the global competition. The young scientists have designed the rover that was exhibited at NASA’s exploration challenge. The team also won the Videography Award in the prestigious competition.
